HELP 4 HAY FUND TODAY
We urgently needs help securing hay for our herd. A regional hay shortage has caused prices to rise dramatically, while available supplies have become increasingly difficult to find.
Just over a year ago, we were paying $11 per bale. Today, that cost has climbed to $20 per bale, nearly doubling our monthly hay expenses.
We now have an opportunity to purchase a load of 380 bales of grass hay for $7,600, with delivery available as soon as this coming weekend or the following weekend. Securing this load would give us approximately one month of hay for the herd and help ensure our barns are stocked as we head into winter.
Our Immediate Goal: $7,600
Every contribution will help us purchase hay while it is available and before prices rise further. If we raise enough, we would love to secure additional loads to provide even more stability for the months ahead.

Join author and Story Medicine Guide Chloe Rachel Galloway, alongside Clea and Sally Hall of Happy Rascal Ranch, for an intimate afternoon of reflection, somatic writing, connection, and the healing presence of horses and donkeys.
Created as a space to honor grief in its many forms, this special Día de los Muertos gathering invites participants to acknowledge the loss of a loved one, the loss of a beloved pet, or grief about what is happening in the world. Through guided writing and connection with the sanctuary animals, participants will be given space to feel, express, and move through grief without rushing or trying to fix it.
The experience combines story medicine, somatic writing, reflection, and the grounding presence of the Happy Rascal herd to create a supportive environment for honoring those who have gone before us and reconnecting with ourselves.
A portion of the proceeds will benefit the 501(c)(3) nonprofit Happy Rascal Sanctuary.
